this is a more up to date version of this scarf - the white yarn i use now is the same brand as the colored yarn, which makes it look about 100 times better than the scarf that got the DD. That one was my first rainbow scarf but it was done so long ago and I make them SOOO much better now - I'm really embarrassed of the photos of the other one because the white really looked terrible to me :c

not sure if you remember me, but a long time ago I asked if you could make a bed spread like this. I recently learned how to crochet and have taken on the challenge of learning your pattern! DYK: your rainbow scarf that got the dd was what drove me to try crochet?! I only have a few random skeinright now, but I'm going to buy some new ones soon, and I think this will make the perfect project!

Glad to know you have improved your skills! I still think your first one is just as beautiful, and I may still buy something from you soon! BTW: what is the link to your blog? I would love to visit!

Her pattern is one row of single crochet for the white and one row of double crochet for the colors. It's in the comments above :)

I don't know if you ever figured this out on your own, but I figured I would let you know. It's a fairly simple pattern but her skill at making nice stitches is what makes it so awesome.

As in, did you start with white and build up the colour or do a white outline at the end?
